Synopsis: Based on the autobiographical book `Son of Adam' by Sir Denis Forman. Set in a wealthy Scottish household in the 1920s, the story of an inquisitive ten-year-old boy. When his uncle visits with a pretty French fiancée in tow, everyone falls in love with her, including the boy. A story based on the childhood of Sir Denis Forman. A large family presides at Harewood House, a castle situated in the Scottish Highlands, between the two World Wars. Gamma Macintosh is the matriarch of the family; the other members include Moira and her husband Edward, an aspiring inventor of flying machines and automobiles, and their children, particularly Fraser, the ten-year-old son of the family. Feelings are stirred when Moira's brother, Morris, visits the castle along with his alluring French fianceé, Heloise.
